Generated illustration. Not a historical photograph. A fleet in a shoal bay. Not an island survey and not a likeness.
Overview
The miss is already on the Battle of the Nile 1798 — Overview and the Egyptian Expedition 1798–1801. Nelson Horatio — Biography Overview missed the French at Toulon, Malta, and Alexandria, then found the fleet in Aboukir Bay — Egypt on 1 August 1798.1
The Miss-Place
This note covers that Malta miss-place only. A siege, a founding year, a garrison, and troop numbers stay on RESEARCH_QUEUE.
Egyptian Expedition 1798–1801 and Egypt Expedition — Threat to the India Route 1798 already used the 19 May 1798 sailing and left Malta as a place note. Alexandria stays on those sentences. Do not invent a Knights history or a 1798 landing from this page.2
