Overview

The command is already on the Trafalgar Campaign 1805. By late August 1805 the Combined Fleet was in Cadiz — Spanish Naval Port. Nelson Horatio — Biography Overview took command of the Cadiz blockade.¹

The Command

This note covers that late-August 1805 command only. A fleet list, a ship-by-ship station, and the earlier 1797–99 blockade stay on RESEARCH_QUEUE.

Boulogne — 1805 Invasion Camp already used the army that marched east from the same late-August paragraph. Cadiz — Spanish Naval Port is the harbour, not this command. The 19 October sortie stays on the Battle of Trafalgar 1805 — Overview.²
