Trekroner Fort was the shore battery already named on the Battle of Copenhagen 1801 — Overview: about 70 guns, behind Fischer Olfert — Danish Commodore’s static line of hulks, blockships, and floating batteries off Copenhagen — Denmark.¹

This note covers 2 April 1801 only. Build date, designer, masonry, gun list, island plan, and the 1807 bombardment stay on RESEARCH_QUEUE. The unused 1807 city title remains a roadmap item on the Copenhagen place note.

Nelson Horatio — Biography Overview attacked through the King’s Deep from HMS Elephant — 74-gun Third Rate. Hyde Parker — British Admiral lay about three miles out. HMS Agamemnon — Overview ran aground entering the channel with Bellona and Russell. Four hours of gunnery silenced most of Fischer’s line. Around 2 pm Trekroner was still firing when Nelson sent the truce ashore to the Danish Crown Prince.²
