Janus Cot — Port Royal already records the Port Royal landing. This note covers the Lion passage home and the first helplessness at Bath only.¹

The Passage

Southey says Capt. (afterwards Admiral) Cornwallis took him home in the Lion, and that to that care and kindness Nelson believed himself indebted for his life. He went immediately to Bath, so helpless that he was carried to and from his bed.²

The Port Royal landing stays on Janus Cot — Port Royal. The Hinchinbrook mortality figure stays on Hinchinbrook San Juan Mortality — 1780. This page does not invent a rate for Lion, recopy the landing, or add a later Albemarle commission.
